2. Agentic Chat/AI Features & Automated Support
We may offer automated chat technologies (including AI-powered or automated assistants) and AI-enabled services (collectively, “Chat Services”) to help facilitate customer support, respond to inquiries, provide product information, and assist with transactions. When you interact with Chat Services, we collect the information you choose to provide through the Chat Services, as well as information about your interaction as explained in the chart above. Certain Chat Services may involve automated processing, including tools that generate responses or assist in making recommendations or routing requests. These tools are designed to support our customer service and ecommerce operations. We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, using personal data collected through our Chat Services to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you without appropriate safeguards. Where required by law, you may request human assistance or review of certain automated interactions.
3. Sharing Your Information
As noted above, Burris consists of a family of companies that includes Burris Logistics and its Affiliates (the “Company Group”). Because Burris Logistics’ Affiliates share common ownership, management, and technology infrastructure, information collected through any Company Group website or service may reside in systems that are accessible across the Company Group, regardless of which Affiliate’s website you used when the information was collected. We maintain internal policies and access controls designed to limit use of your information to authorized purposes.
We will not sell your personal information to any third party for money. We may share your information under certain circumstances with trusted third parties that help us bring you the services we offer, as explained in the above chart.
We require our service providers to maintain the confidentiality of all information that we share with them and to use such information only in accordance with the obligations set forth in the agreements we have with them.
We may also share your personal information with law enforcement agencies, government/regulatory bodies, and content protection organizations to: (i) protect our legal rights, privacy or safety, and that of our subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, agents, contractors, or other individuals; (ii) protect the safety and security of visitors to our online services or other properties; (iii) protect against fraud or other illegal activity or for risk management purposes; or (iv) comply with the law including with subpoenas, search warrants, court orders, and other legal process.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We may place, or allow to be placed, cookies, pixels, web beacons, SDKs, APIs, and similar technologies (“Tags”) on our Sites to give you the best experience, perform analytics, analyze traffic, personalize content, offer a range of features and functionality, support account experiences, and offer ads that match your interest. Tags may be placed on the site by parties such as Google Analytics, Amazon, and Meta, as well as other providers.

6. Sale or Transfer of All or Part of Our Business or Assets
In the event of a business transaction, we may disclose personal information to prospective or actual purchasers, investors, or successor entities in connection with a contemplated reorganization or an actual reorganization of our business, in connection with financing, a sale, or other transaction involving the disposal of all or part of our business or assets, including for the purpose of permitting the due diligence required to decide whether to proceed with a transaction, pursuant to assurances of sufficient data handling practices and safeguards. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide you with reasonable notice of such transfer, or as otherwise required by law.

We store your personal information on the basis of applicable law and retain it as required to satisfy the purpose for which the data is processed, unless a longer period is required for purposes such as complying with retention obligations, record keeping or other commercial requirements.

For requests to access, delete, and correct your information, the information that you provide will be analyzed to determine whether we can reasonably verify your identity. For example, if we determine that the information provided is not sufficient for verification, you may be prompted to answer a few questions.
For requests to access, delete, and correct your information, we will also send an email to you, asking that you confirm that we have the correct email address within six (6) days of receiving the confirmation email or your request will expire. If you do not see an email from us, please check your spam folder.
If you are an authorized agent acting on behalf of another individual, please send your request to [email protected] and include the following information about you and the person on whose behalf you are submitting the request: full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number. You should also provide proof of your authorization to act on the other person’s behalf. We will contact you for additional information once your request has been received.
There may be circumstances where we may not completely fulfill your request, as permitted under applicable law. For example, if you submit a request to delete your personal information, we may need to retain certain personal information to complete a transaction, detect fraud, or comply with our legal obligations.

We implement a variety of commercially reasonable security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. We take appropriate physical, electronic, technological and administrative steps and implement safeguards to maintain the security of personal information we collect. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Our Sites are not intended for children. Burris does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of thirteen and will dispose of any such information if we become aware that it has been provided to us. Please allow at least ten (10) business days from when the request was received to complete your unsubscribe request. Transactional or service-related messages will continue as required. 13. Customers Outside of the United States
Burris stores its information, including Personal Data as that term is defined in the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), and hosts its Sites in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States or are visiting our Sites from outside the United States, please be aware that your Personal Data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located, and our central database is operated. The laws that apply to the use and protection of Personal Data in the United States or other countries or jurisdictions in which we transfer or process Personal Data may be different than the laws and protections in your country.
